![]() ![]() In every way the 330d is better and the performance is a night and day difference that said the 320d is not slow. my 320d liked being revved and produced power across the range which was great. My first BMW was an E92 320d manual (Black with Red seats, look brilliant ) and it was a very nice car and engine, i cannot see why people have an issue with how it sounds i had no problems sounded miles better than the 2.2L HDi Peugeot i swapped it for, and was also loads faster. As for MPG, I'd say that if you drive a 330d in a way that gives you close to 320d economy, you'd have been better off buying a 320d in the first place Based on my limited experience I'd say the 320d is slightly keener on the turn-in around slow corners but the difference ceases to be noticeable around 30 Mph Some say the 320d handles better due to less weight in the nose. ![]() The 330d is night and day superior in that respect It's not bad if you're ok with a regular 4 cylinder diesel sound. 320d is nice and not slow by any means but if I'm spending this much money on a car, I would prefer to spend just 4k more on something that thumps you in the back rather than giving you a little a little nudge How much is the road tax compared to the £30 per year of the 320d?Īlso a bit worried about the jump in Insurance, anyone advise if they looked in to this and let the 330d triumph?ĭepends on your preferences.
